Heart Healthy Chickpea Salad
My daughter loves chickpeas! She especially loves this Healthy Chickpea Salad. It takes no time to whip up this salad. This is a great way to get more Vegetables into your family's diet. The key to making a good salad is having varying colours in your dish! I always try to have lots of different colours in the dish. It is very pleasing on the eyes and stomach! Use your favourite salad dressing to make the dish an instant success.
Ingredients:
1 can of chickpeas, washed and drained good
1 red or orange pepper, diced
1/4 cup of cucumber, diced
1/4 cup grape tomatoes, diced
1 tbsp. red onion, chopped small
1 tbsp. parsley, chopped
1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup of your favourite salad dressing.
To Make:
Mix all the ingredients together and adjust the seasonings and dressing as necessary.
